In previous winters the monthly medals have been dominated by the higher handicapper’s who have excelled on the temporary greens and shortened course. This winter has been different; following the instalation of greens drainage in 2018 we have not used a temporary green all winter, and the course has played much harder.
The January and March Mid-Week Stablefords were both won by the ever consistent Rick Rankin who has trimmed his handicap to eight. The February Mid-Week Stableford was won by Richard Lewis who also returned to eight handicap.
The March Medal was won by fast improving Darren Lingham with a nett 62. Matthew Eames finished on the same score but was second on count-back.
