Board Competitions

 All the Ladies Board Competitions are played over 18 holes and to be eligible to enter all players must have submitted 5 Qualifying Rounds in the past 12 months.  There are currently no 9 hole Board Competitions.

TROPHY Competitions

 The Ladies Section hold Trophy Competitions for both 9 and 18 holes.

  • Winter Greensomes (Doubles – Knockout)
  • Winter Singles (Knockout)
9 Hole Trophy Competitions
  • MacMillan Shield

 The MacMillan Shield and Pairs Pots 9 Hole Competitions will run on the same day as the 18 Hole Competitions.


The Ladies Section play 9 England Golf (EG) Medals during the year as well as a Champion of Champions qualifier.  These are 18 or 9 hole competitions.  

Stablefords are also played during the year including the Par Competition, Cancer Relief Stableford, RNLI Stableford and the EG Trust Drawn Stableford.

FUN Competitions

All the Ladies Fun Competitions are played over 9 or 18 holes.  Throughout the year some of the following Fun Competitions are run:


The Ladies Section reward ladies who achieve in qualifying competitions.  These are:

  • Order of Merit (9 holes)
  • Order of Merit (18 holdes)
  • Par Tree (for those Ladies with a handicap of 30 or above)
