All being well, golf at Chesham and Ley Hill is set to resume on March 29th. If Covid infections continue to decline then the government roadmap for re-opening is:
March 29th: Course to open for members. Clubhouse toilets re-open.
April 12th:. Bar to re-open but drinks must be served outside.
May 17th: Clubhouse to fully re-open. Drinks can be served inside.
Golf will be played under similar conditions to those before lockdown 2.0. Play can be in fourballs, social distancing rules must be followed (2 metres) & face coverings must be worn inside the changing rooms.
In appreciation of the support of our members we will be confining the use of the course to full and associate members only. Until further notice, non-members, green fees, and members guests will not be permitted to play. Most of the local clubs are adopting a similar [members only] policy, so demand for golf is expected to be high. Fortunately, a limited number of memberships are still available!
