Chesham & Ley Hill Ladies’ ‘Spring Meeting’
The ever-popular Ladies ‘Spring Meeting’ comprises an 18-hole Singles Stableford competition, played in the morning, followed by a further 9-hole, ‘Best of 3 Balls’ Team Stableford Competiton in the afternoon.
Rosemayre Barry won the morning 18-holes Stableford, with an impressive score of 38 points, followed by runner-up, Christine Lewis with 32 points, who just “pipped” the Lady Captain, Irene Crook, who finished in third place, with 31 points.
The ‘nearest the pin’ competition was won by Christine Lewis and the ‘longest drive’ was won by Rosemayre Barry.
The ‘best front 9 holes’ and ‘best back 9 holes’ prizes were won by Annie Cook and Pauline West respectively.
The afternoon 9-hole ‘Team Stableford’ was won by Julie Salt, Liz Davies and Ann Birkett with 28 points. The ‘Runners-up’ Team was Pat Bruton, Margaret Tattersall and Irene Crook with 22 points.
