course
“Don’t be deceived. It might be a short 9-hole course but it’s a little gem. It provides a very enjoyable setting for a challenging round of golf. The key with this course is to keep the ball straight! The 3rd is a real favourite of mine, around 110 yards from an elevated green, fantastic hole”.

A Challenging track in beautiful surroundings!
If you haven't played Ley Hill then you're in for a treat! Hidden away between Chesham and Hemel Hempstead lies Ley Hill, a pretty little village known for its two pubs opposite the cricket pitch. It also has a delightful golf course which sits amid the oak woodland of Ley Hill common. Every hole is lined by mature trees, and in late spring, the woods are resplendent with bluebells. The course is renowned for its challenging tee shots and small greens. Many of the holes on the back nine are played off alternate tees.
HOLE 4
Schoolhouse Hill
Men: 212yds, par 3, stroke-index 8
Ladies: 205yds, par 3, stroke-index 8
A long up-hill par 3. big hitters might use a long iron but most mere mortals will require a wood. Beware the two hidden bunkers left and right of the green. the green is heavily sloped from back to front. Always try and leave your ball below the hole. A par is a good score on this hole.
