Ley Hill were ousted from the Hillman Cup plate competition by Waterstock in a tightly contested match at the Oxfordshire course.
Ley Hill’s top order were only able to salvage a single halved match, courtesy of club champion Ian Morris, who was giving 8 shots to his opponent. The lower order were more successful with excellent wins from Matt Gardiner and Nigel Ford, and a halved match from captain Dave Hankin.
