Monday night league - week 7

The Golf Club side remain top of the league after an unfortunate selection hiccup left their opponents, Berko Rangers, without two players.  Yerrell’s maintained their chase with an impressive 46-43 win over the Cricket Club side.  Simon Royal continued his fine run of form with 17pts.

Ley Hill School recorded their first win of the competition with a 48-45 defeat of fellow strugglers Golden Eagle, and they now move off the bottom of the league table.  New recruit Chris Hewitt was the star performer with 24 points.  1879 Tennis Club were unstoppable against West Herts with Claire Moore contributing the highest score (18pts), and taking the ladies longest drive prize too!

Bovingdon FC produced a shock win against a strong Juniors side with important contributions from Oliver Beales (17pts) and John Reid (16pts).  Longest men’s drive was Oscar Kirkham and nearest-the-pin was John Harris.
