The Corona league will run on Wednesday nights while virus restrictions are in force.  There are two leagues of six players and each week there will be a new round of matches (over 9 holes) to decide the league winners.  At the end of the league the two league winners will play a final (over 18 holes).  Matches will all be 2-ball.  Please respect your opponent and adhere to Social distancing rules at all times.

The format will be match play, but each round will continue until the 9th hole and be scored like the existing Edy tournament, except that the maximum winning score is limited to +5, -5.  The matches will start from 6pm according to the schedule below, but players are welcome to continue playing beyond the 9 holes.  Scores should be posted afterwards on the WhatsApp group.  Any player failing to arrive for their scheduled match will score -5.  A tied match will score zero points to each player.  £5 to enter, £40 to winner, £20 to runner-up.  Full handicap, ball must rest in upturned hole to be classed as ‘holed’.  Do not touch flags.  Winter rules still in force.  Bunkers in play but no rakes, please use your club to smooth.  Play off yellow tees.
