Our two finalists finally plucked up the courage to face each other for the biggest match of the year 'the pro-sec trophy final'. Played over 9 holes it sounded like a tight match with 'Birdie Boy' Steve Bruton losing a 2 hole lead to 'Smugger' Dave Smith, who won the match 1 up.

So Dave Smith adds him name to a very elite group of golfers who have held the 'Pro-Sec Trophy'.
