Here is what some other golfers thought of the course:
kev mundy (England) 08/06/05 Come back from a weekend golf break,(24 men)handicaps from 6-28. Course was excellent many holes interesting and the water!.Between us lost over 300 balls. But staff were very pleasent and made us feel welcome both in the golf clubhouse as well as the hotel. If critical about anything the greens needed to be cut?,but in whole a great course with some great views and would recommend highly to anyone who likes a challenging golf course and doesn't mind having a few golf balls less at end of round.
Mark Wooldridge (England) 28/10/04 this course is magnificent played here 3 weeks ago and all tho a bit pricey it was worth every penny. Anyone who wants to play a round of golf this one is the one the fairways are kept to great standards and the greens are like the ones you see on telly(i kid you not). There were 8 of us in our group and not one person had a bad word to say and all can not wait to play it again.
GJ (england) 21/08/03 played this twice with my society, and we all lost balls, i love it, i played probably my worst game for years broke a club, picked up on a lot of holes, but it,s brilliant, very testing,we have one player in our society who won 3 times on the trot, but he very rarely hits the fairway, this place put a stop that. he came last losing a lot of balls. it was won with our lowest ever score of 30pts, on a very hot day, but everyone wants to go back, nice clubhouse as well
Paul Fuszard (England) 07/02/06 I felt disloyal to my home club - but have now made this club my first choice. Golf is an amazing game on any course, but unlike some I get very bored very easily. This course is such a refreshing change and has so much variety over the holes - you could play 100 times and still feel like it is the first. I don't really have many (if any) moans except that the map/information boards are now blank through weathering. More water than grass - great ! Make sure you have plenty of Orange or Tracker balls in the winter !
Dave Appleby (England) 12/04/07 13 of us played this course on Friday and Saturday in a Society weekend . The only complaints we did have was that all the greens had just been spiked so causing putting to be a complete lottery. Other than that the course was in good condition ( bar a few untidy tee boxes ) . Tricky par 3's to hit as wind plays a big part . The finishing 18th is impossible when the wind is against. Overall very enjoyable .
